We will be hosting a Panel Presentation featuring speakers from Sesame Workshop (http://www.sesameworkshop.org/what-we-do/our-initiatives/autism/), the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street, and a meet-and-greet with a costumed Julia character, the Sesame Street Muppet who has autism. Sesame Workshop speakers Jeanette Betancourt Ed.D., Mindy Fila, and Autumn Zitani, M.A., will share the story behind the creation of Julia, the first autistic Muppet, and discuss Sesame’s work to increase public understanding of autism and serve autistic children and their families.

The NIMH Research Domain Criteria (RDoC) unit holds monthly virtual “office hours” via video conference.
